A message from

          your principal…

Dear Hurlock Family,

Welcome back to a new school year!

We have so much to be proud of here at HES—when the Maryland School Assessment Scores came out, it showed that Hurlock students continue to achieve greater success!  To see our scores, go to www.mdk12.org and click on data to access our scores!

While we have made great progress in the academic and social achievement of all of our students, we still have room to improve.  We will continue with our school motto—Hurlock Elementary School—where Excellence is a Habit.  I have again charged the staff and students to adopt this frame of mind and to rise to the level of excellence.  If all of us do our best at all times, working together to see that ALL students achieve academically, Hurlock Elementary School will become a place where “Excellence is a Habit”.

This newsletter includes a lot of important information—please read it carefully.  If you have any questions please feel free to call or stop in and visit!  I look forward to another great year at HES!

                                   Sincerely,

                                   Mrs. Regina Teat
